Many employers want to have a drug-free workforce but have concerns about the legality of random testing. Fortunately, California and other Case Law have finally caught up and now allows for all types of employee testing, when conducted properly.
OUR POLICY ALLOWS FOR THE FOLLOWING TEST TYPES

Pre-Employment drug testing can be performed following a conditional offer of employment. Testing date & time should NOT be disclosed in order to prevent sample tampering.
RANDOM

Random Drug & Breath Alcohol Testing can be performed on your "Safety-Related" employees, once Policy is distributed and random pools are established.
POST ACCIDENT
PRE-EMPLOYMENT
REASONABLE CAUSE
Post Accident Drug & Breath Alcohol Testing can be performed on any employee following a work related incident that has caused injury or severe property damage.

Reasonable Suspicion Drug & Breath Alcohol Testing can be performed anytime an employee is suspected of working while impaired.

Return To Duty Drug & Breath Alcohol Testing can be performed following a Policy violation, that has be cleared by a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
